Family Visa Options
Partner Visa (820/801 or 309/100)
For spouses and de facto partners of Australian citizens or PR holders. A two-stage process — temporary then permanent. Available onshore (820/801) and offshore (309/100).
Parent Visa (103/143/804/884)
For parents of Australian citizens, PRs or eligible NZ citizens. Contributory Parent Visas (143/884) offer faster processing. Standard Parent Visas have longer wait times but lower cost.
Prospective Marriage (300)
Allows your overseas fiance to travel to Australia to get married. Valid for 9 months. After marriage, apply for a Partner Visa (820/801) to remain permanently in Australia.
